NBT nav "learn route" and "route magnet"

Saw these mentioned in the owners manual but they don't exist on my car (US 2014 528i). Do these features exist and if so how well do they work? (And can they be enabled via coding)

Route Magnet can be enabled via coding. On my 2014 F10 the code to change is as below:

Enable Route Magnet
HU_NBT > 3000 HMI > NAVI_ROUTENMAGNET
Change value from nicht_aktiv to aktiv

There are 2 other useful options that you can also enable:

Navigation Route Preview
HU_NBT > 3000 HMI > NAVI_ROAD_PREVIEW
Change value from nicht_aktiv to aktiv

Navigation Route Simulator
HU_NBT > 3000 HMI > NAVI_SCROLLING_ALONG_ROUTE
Change value from nicht_aktiv to aktiv
