My car is not lowered so far. Having 20" wheels and OEM M Tech + original Vorsteiner got zero scratches in 2 years (knock on wood). Shopping malls, parkings are OK. The ultimate hit was the small front visards scratching the pot hole, however the lip is way higher.

What lips work well with the factory M Sport bumper other than the M Performance?
I'm not necessarily looking for Carbon Fiber. My 550 is Sophisto Greg so I was thinking maybe flat black. |

I wanted to stay away from the fiberglass ones and carbon fiber because of cracking, chipping and breaking on low impact. The front is going to get the most abuse. Watching friends go through spoiler after spoiler I vowed only to get polyurethane for the front. At least you have a lot more give if you hit a speed bump, curb stop or tire debris on the highway. Sooner or later something is going to hit it. At the end of the day who cares if its not original. They pretty much look the same anyway. I had originally ordered the 3D design from the Vollkommen group buy but thats another story...Anyway, you can't go wrong and it didn't cost you over a grand. My car is an M-Sport but the lip is such a low price give it a shot. If it doesn't fit I'm sure you won't have any problems off loading it on here. Here it is on my car...It's not lowered. |

Thanks for letting me know. But see the issue is yours is oem m sport. Mine is aftermarket. I would have to talk to the seller to see what is the return policy.
And I know one of the member here said it lower his car a few inches. Is that the same with you? I was going through so many photos and was hoping it just lower a bit...like an inch. Just dont want to go through all the drama of parking, driveway, dip and bump.. |

Ahhhh.... I see. I decided to hold off on the coilovers and put the lip on first and see how much clearance I have. I think cause my car is black I can pull it off as some forum members haven't yet lowered their black cars but it Looks lowered from the pictures they posted

Yup! I'll probably be ordering the lip here in June and July I'll order the skirts. I'm in the middle of moving here at the end of my son's school years So I have to wait til then. The lip run around $500...skirts $800 and the skirt extensions $1100
