Hey guys what should I ask for before I hit the 50k mile mark and warranty expires? I was thinking asking the dealer to replace the worn out buttons, check brakes and rotors(which they will probably say does not need replacing even if it does), and maybe trying to get them to replace wipers..anything else?? My car is a 2012 528xdrive

Please check at your car:
a) headlights edges for shears due to glass quality is low
b) steering for play/backlash due to gimbal joint (5) is worn



Those known for having been replaced by warranty.

You should ask for an extended warranty.

knowing the road conditions in NY, just like here in Ireland, get them to check or run a diagnose of your suspension aluminium parts, for my one they changed them to metal a year before warranty up, apparently the aluminium parts are impacted by the bad roads, my dealer performed this without me asking, nice of them! It is done under BMW warranty.

Thanks for all the input guys. Bringing the car back in for a previous problem that was "fixed" involving water leaking into my rear floor area. I'll have them check everything while I'm there. Thanks again
