It seems the dealers have a rule to never lease a 535 less than $700 per month. even when the lease calculator states it should be in the $500s. I don't get it the math on their lease worksheet never adds up or always adds up to more than $700. this has been the case with 3 different cars at 3 dealerships.

Damn, these deals are depressing. I'm paying $900+ for my 2012 550i M-Sport lease but mostly because I was a bit "upside down" on my E92 M3 with frame damage. My lease is up in 7 months and I can't wait. Love the car but not the payments.

You can turn in your lease 6 months ahead but not sure if you can find another MY14 550i available.

Congrats and enjoy the car for either 3 years, or you can probably easily transfer if you get tired of it sooner.

Overall, I think anything <800/m for a 550i is a great deal.
To a degree you are correct; does take a bit of legwork and luck.

I just sold back my 2012 550i to my dealer and was able to get a 2014 650ix with 300 miles on the odometer for what was basically $12k off the sticker plus most of my mods back off the 550i [that mattered] at delivery which I was able to resale here to recoup enough to bring my discount w/BMW CCA rebate also to around $16k or so. Monthly payment only increased about $65/mo for same duration I had with the 550i. Key was I was ready to buy then and they had a car in stock I would take that they wanted to move (had a production date Sept 2013 and port date of Nov 2013 so it was almost a 1 yr old car) as it was their last 2014 650ix Gran Coupe on the lot also. Of note 4 2015 650ix Gran Coupe's appeared on the lot about 1-2 weeks after my deal when I went back for an oil change and service on the dealer's dime. So they had 2015 stock inbound and needed to move the 2014 thus they were ready to deal even if it meant taking a loss on the 650ix GC. So they are out there for all models...have a 2014 550i on the lot too last I looked.

Just need to look for them and be prepared to take what is avail. (i.e. color I got wasn't 1st choice nor was interior but both were acceptable).
