This looks absolutely stunning. If you have a heated steering wheel in the M sport wheel will that transfer over as well?

Now I need to find a part number for the M6 6spd steering wheel for my 6spd F10.

Also is this any thicker than the current M sport steering wheel on the LCI ? They look almost identical aside from stitching and the V section in the middle.

Called the BMW parts center and the guy gave me these two part numbers for the wheel.

7846035
7846029

One is for the wheel, $1048.82 and the other for the trim piece $149.26

However I'am hesitant to order the wheel with the new car because the airbag part numbers are slightly different? Wonder what the actual difference is, some people said it could be the way it deploys since it is made for a M6 IE: Different cabin dimension.

You can order parts with vibration and heating modules for this steering wheel. This M6 steering wheel is similar to new LCI steering wheel but the V section definitely makes the difference. I guess the airbag will be interchangeable.

Forget to mention that paddle shifters are different. Personally I think M6 ones are better.

Did anyone ever figure this issue out? Seems pretty important Wouldn't want the airbag to implode my ribcage if I got into an accident...

Also, M-sport pedals don't even compare to the real M paddles in the M5/6, but I wouldn't mind getting the M-sport wheel if it saves a couple hundred bucks.

My airbag for this mod is finally in transit. Installing wheel next Wednesday. Needless to say I'm giddy as a teen right now.

Were there any differences in the spline for the wheels?
I've found 2, one with the vibration and one without.

I've ordered the M5 M performance wheel to retro fit to my 2014 F10 LCI.
The non-race display one though.

Hopefully just a straight swap out.

Got the wheel for £665 delivered.

Hey guys, don't you know if it's possible to install this steering wheel on a E70 X5 40d 2011?

Thank you

Steering Wheel Contro module

Does anyone know if Control Module needs to be replaced when retrofitting from Non-Sport (Regular) heated to M5/M6 Steering Wheel heated? I have no other options and not planing on having additions. I have checked realoem.com and the part number is the same between mine and M5 but talked to Euroactive representative and got a word that it does require a new one. Can some one whose done it confirm please?

Great Upgrade, but I'm in the process of an OEM M5 conversion.

Did your old steering wheel had paddle shifters? If it didn't...do the ones you have now work?

Yea, airbag goes for about $1000. It is the most expensive part out of the steering wheel.
I got a buyer interested on my used steering wheel, but he got an airbag already.
Let me find out from him, if I don't lose too much money, I'll PM you.
