New to me 5 series

Hi all! New member with plans to have signed for a 2013 535i within the next two weeks. Anything you all think I need to know or check into since this will be my first bimmer?

Have you looked into the obvious? . Accident history and repair history? Make sure previous owner(s) kept up with all maintenance?........

Drive car and check for any warning lights. Check for unusual tire wear.... Listen for unusual sounds while driving......

Consider purchasing an extended warranty (if available in your market). With all the electronics in these newer cars, repairs are pretty much always expensive.

Drive the car at 60, 70, 80 MPH... vibration issues...do a search... I stupidly did not so I have to live with it now.

If you have a choice, get the 550i! I was debating between the two and I'm glad I listened to the other members. Recently installed the JB4 and I couldn't be happier with the decision.

Wel....it actually sold for much higher than I was willing to part with. Looking at a 2013 528xi with less miles (32,000) for $30,000. Everything is the same except no HUD. Not a big deal breaker I guess. Fingers crossed

Welcome to the forum. I have had a E60 and F10 535i and it is a good choice. I miss the MPG with them after moving to the 550. Post some pics when you get a chance!

I sure will. Just found a 2014 528i M sport I may switch to though. Haven't signed papers yet since the car is at another dealership. Gonna jump on the m sport instead I think.
