2011 5 series colors - Deep Sea Blue/Cinnamon
currently have 2007 black sapphire plus cinnamon - love the cinnamon, but everyone in my area has a black bimmer.
Anyone actually have a Deep Blue Sea exterior with the cinnamon interior, maybe anthracite headliner and wood trim? Pics??? |

thanks Ibimmer. I had seen your post many months ago - what kind of feedback have you had from others?
I really like the blue exterior, and I like the cinammon (as mentioned I have this in my current bimmer), but only you can tell me if they actually complement one another or not in the same vehicle. Blue and brown just strikes me as possibly conflicting colors. Thanks for your thoughts, the pics are indeed striking, but nothing is as good as seeing the real thing. |

I got the same combination, dsb + Cinammon, with anthracite wood trim but regular headliner (I think anthracite headliner will do also, but I want it a little bit brighter). I got help from looking at ibimmer346 post (thanks to him too), because I thought it might be a conflicting colors. My sales agent was also sceptical in the first place since no one ever ordered the combination. When I got the car, it is really a good combination. The blue is really nice (compare to the imperial blue which is a little too dark for me). Even the sales agent complement on it afterward. It is really hard to tell from the BMW website, but ibimmer346 post is as good as you can see. I ordered mine with the ambiance lighting option, which is perfectly complement the cinammon interior at night.

That's such a great combo IMO. I wanted the cinnamon interior, but the wife vetoed that, but I got to keep the DSB exterior and chose Oyster/Black. If we were able to see the cinnamon in person, I probably could've convinced her. Good Luck!

To me, the cinnamon interior is OK. But really it was a bit of a compromise on my part. What I really wanted was the Chestnut interior they had in the E90 a couple years ago. It's a lighter color than the cinnamon. More red and a little "warmer". But it's not available.
I don't like black interiors, so that was out for me. I was worried the gray interior would be a little too boring. The oyster scared me. So my real choices were beige and cinnamon. I had beige on my last car.... so that left cinnamon. The cinnamon is definitely brown though. Maybe even a tobacco brown. IMO, DSB goes well with just about anything other than black. |

Cinnamon interior is classic on a beamer. Very luxurious yet sporty. I admire the look but black on black is where it's at!. White on black is just as cool.
