Feel different after had a exhaust

Hello,

I had a M performance exhaust on my 535i last week.
So far I love the sound.
But only thing that feel different when I push gas pedal.
Feel likes a more turbo rag
My friend told me that i need a intake and dyno with mapping.
So if I do that, I can be feel better?
Or anyone recommend better idea?

Thank you!

That's pretty much impossible... if anything it's less restrictive so the turbo spools faster. You shouldn't even notice a difference other than sound, unless you added a downpipe.

Less back pressure always feels like that. You should notice more of a difference midrange and up top.

Invest in a SprintBooster, you will be amazed. If you haven't done that already.

No back pressure
manny people don't know how important back pressure is for performance and how engine runs.

Give it time to adjust, but just about any mod won't be fully utilized without tuning to match.

NA motors, yes...FI motors, no. He still has back pressure in the form of downpipes, a resonator and still has mufflers, just different ones.

I'm in agreement with this^^ I don't think the stock 535 system is very restrictive to begin with - the PE is all about sound, not lower back pressure or increased performance. Plus, it's not normally aspirated.

I drove over 300 miles so far.
Also I did not any mod.
However it feels same.
Is there any other solution?

Thank you for all the feedback.

I have M5 muffler on my 535i and there is not performance gain what so ever. This is just for sound. Look into downpipes, tunes and an intake if you are looking for performance.
