MAX AC Button Question

Anyone know how MAX AC is different from setting the system to 60 degrees Fahrenheit, the highest fan speed settings, with air passing through all vents? Thanks.

The only additional thing to what you have listed would be to turn recirculate on, but that can also be controlled manually. I think it's just an easy way to do all of the above with one button push.

Yes - essentially just a "macro" for doing all of the above easily is my understanding.

Also seems MAX AC only uses the front, forward facing vents (not the windscreen or foot well ones)...?

BMW data does indicate some features (such as the defrosting function) are deactivated when using the MAX button, as the intention is the fastest unregulated cabin cooling possible. Uses the recirculating function as part of the setting.

Personally I only use it for that brief blast of cooling when getting in an extremely hot cabin. As soon as the temperature drops a bit, back to full auto settings.

My wife will use The MAX function for those times she has a hot flush. She rates it as the best control in the car.
