Hello,

I was looking for aftermarket wheel insurance as I am sure many of us have purchased expensive wheels (I purchased Vorsteiner 103 wheels for my car). I posted on forums and no one seems to have an option except buying one from the dealer at the time of picking up a new car. For my wifeÂ’s X5, it was a no brained as it was $1000 for 3 years. For my 550i it was $2700 and I decided to pass. Last night I came across this:

I am planning to look into this further and was wondering if anyone purchased this type of insurance.
I am also wondering if they cover any damage to the car that BMW may decide not to cover due to a tune and etc.

I also wanted to share the track event insurance in case people are interested. Just found it interesting that there is one:

I have State Farm as my insurance Co, and I'm covered if I wreck at the track or on the streets. They also cover my aftermarket wheels.
