Lowering suspension with VDC fitted
Hi to all.
I have a 535d m-sport with the 19inch 351 alloys and Variable Damper Control. I love the adjustable suspension but just wish the car didn't sit quite so high. Has anyone lowered their F10 with VDC? If so with what set up? Does this then ruin the VDC as you have payed the extra to have the lovely suspension and then tampering with it? Anyone have any pictures with this setup on their F10? |

Lorcan is your friend.
I understand ACS springs have been used by others in Europe with success, for a moderate drop. In the US some have used H&R springs. HighlandPete |

Well have been looking into this for some time now and after talking to various people it seems if you don't go for a silly drop ride comfort is not affected to much and you still have full control with the VDC.
I'm leaning towards the Eibach Pro kit for my car, offers a modest 30mm drop and improved handling while not wrecking the ride comfort, have read good things bout the Eibach. When I bite the bullet ill try and upload some before and after pics. If anyone has lowered their car with the VDC option fitted would love to hear your thoughts and see any pictures. |
