Here is the car I picked up today. 2014 registered F10 528i. Love the power on this car. But a few nagging issues with interior as with most cars.

1. Front seat rear pockets hinge broke off. Has anyone done a DIY repair on this? Is there a way to open the plastic cover at the back of the seat?

2. Vinyl film peeling off some of the dash trim and center console.

3. Sticky rubber layer as with most newer BMW. Very annoying.

4. Start stop lettering is coming off due to peeling film. Need to replace this.

Some mods.

1. I have already used bimmercode on this car to off the auto start stop at start up.

2. Auto fold mirror when locking car.

3. I don't see the addition of Mperformance logo for the cluster inside bimmercode.

Future mods.

1. 20 inch staggered wheel. Currently on 18 inch. All blacked out by the used car dealer. Ok but would have been nicer had it been smoked colour.

2. Mperformance front and rear bumper.

3. JB4 install for stage 1 upgrade. I have the JB4 installed in the F30 but since i am selling the F30, will transfer it to the F10.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but that looks like a pre-2014 (LCI). The headlights are pre-LCI, as well (AFAIK) as the bumper & mirrors.

The f10/f11 has 3 different types of instrument cluster. I believe you must have either the 6WA or 6WB cluster (they have more digital content).

The Bimmercode website lists the module required for specific coding...look at the bottom that shows which module is required:

It's OK. Ya it's a 2013 model but registered 2014. Didn't have much choice in the used market. Lots of 520i which I wasn't interested in. Was hoping for a straight six though. When this came up at a good deal I took it. My only concern on this car is the N20 timing chain issue. Will be looking at this mod in the near future.

Sure. Will look into this. Not important though at this stage. I. Just wanted to set start stop off as default during start up. Don't like the feature and been reading about it being the cause of engine blowing. Not sure but I can live without this feature.

The M Performance one for the F10 sucks. For my LCI F10 with 6WB, it only shows M550d in the instrument cluster.

Ya, same as my F30. I couldn't get the Mperformance logo to show up. M550D as well. LOL! I switched it back to the standard BMW logo.
