Clear front reflectors

I know that there is an option to by them painted but does anyone make a replacement in clear? I think it would be a nice compliment to the head lights.

I'm not aware of any clear reflectors on the market for NA F10's.
Have seen one poster who cut them himself to fit.

Would be a nice mod.

I agree. I'm not a huge fan of the body colored ones. Any vendors that may be reading this thread, take note as I think these would be a good selling item.

I don't have the link but if I recall they were not a direct/perfect fit.

Look at post #3 on this thread, http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...lear+reflector

I believe he cut them from sheet material, not for me though.
Would buy a manufactured mod.

Agreed with the OP. I had them on my 2010 335 and it looked good.

I remember removing all amber from my E38. I just ordered euro BMW parts as they do not require amber in Europe. . Wonder if this is true for f10's

The problem is they moved the amber reflector to the bumper so they could standardize the headlights.

So if you want to get rid of the amber with European parts you would have to buy a new bumper.

They do pop out. I haven't seen where anyone has found clear reflectors, but alex_c found some clear/white reflective tape that he covered his yellow reflectors with. http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433432

Which is still stupid because the lights aren't standardized. European versions still have a far superior ECE beam pattern that I much prefer to the US DOT cut off.

At least BMW just has a reflector in the bumper and not a marker light like some other German brands. Those are a pain in the ass.

I like my body colored inserts (I've never seen clear ones - so I can't really comment) but they are noticeable and that bugs me. I might have to do a Euro bumper at some point or have these filled in.
