2012 Formula 1 Grand Prix Of Europe

Ready for the snore-fest?
This track has been a fail in recent F1 calender since its debut in 2008. Every year was boring, even with the introduction of new regulation in 2009, DRS and KERS in 2011. The only excitement was the flying RedBull from Webbo.

I'm not going to hold my breathe this year for any excitement with small operating window of the Pirellis. But I do want to see Kimi winning this race with 8 drivers in 8 races.

I wish they rotate Valencia annually with other European circuits who cannot afford to pay FOM every single year. Like Spa who said they cannot afford anymore and co-host with some other countries or so.

Damn, Spa is one of my favorites. GP of Europe is a mediocre race.

Just looking at the layout of the track makes me yawn. I didn't even like the track on F1 2012! haha

So on topic, are they going to rotate GP of Europe since the Spanish GP is now going to be shared between these 2? They could rotate between Nurburgring, Hockenheim, Valencia, Catalunia, and Spa whenever there's not a GP at one that year. ***cough SPA cough***

I'm hoping for Raikkonen or even Schumacher to take the win this weekend. 8 out of 8 would be sweet

You can Nix Hockenheim and the 'Ring from that list. They already alternate the Grosser Preis Santander Vom Deutschland every other year. And the race last year saw Nurburgring lose an estimated 13-16 million euros hosting the event. Incredibly, Hockenheim GP gets filled to the brim everytime they host the event. Nurburgring saw a drop in attendance at the 24 hour race this year. And that is supposed to be their "BIG" event.

Above that, you have to couple the mess going on between the Rheinland Pfalz government with the the Operating "gurus" of Nurburgring, Richter and Linder over their eviction notice served to them over 6 months ago for defaulting on their payments.

Yeah that's what I mean. That's why I threw the upcoming alternating Spanish GP sites. Say this year there's a race at Catalunya (sp) and Hockenheim. There's NOT a race at the Ring or Valencia. So the European GP could be held at one of those. And vice versa for next year. It could be held at Hockenheim or Catalunya. See what I mean?
