New F10 550Xi / Bang and Olufsen not working
Hi Everyone, new to the board. I just picked up my 2013 550xi today and I really like the car. I traded in my 2007 M5 and honestly I am missing the sound/HP already! But I just got back in the car and the B&G radio is no longer working. Its really odd, I can select a channel in Sat or AM/Fm but no sound and the speaker will not pop up. Not a great way to start out with this car, any ideas? Did I hit a mute button?

After the car sat for an hour the radio came back on. Really strange. Hope it doesn't happen again. Anyone else have the B&G radio? I think the radio in my E60 M5 sounded much better.

B&G radio? I guess you mean B&O loudspeakers?

HA! Yea, typo. I meant B&O. Some music sounds great, but I remember the Sat radio in my M5 sounded insane, nice and deep. Maybe the Sub in the 550 isn't as big? When I listen to music through my I-phone it sounds much better...

Sat radio will sound of like crap regardless of the sound system. It's highly compressed. You'll have to listen to music off USB/CD/iPod/iPhone if you want it to sound better.
