Leak on wheel. Does anyone know what comes next?

I noticed a leak on the passenger side wheel and took a picture of the source.
Attaching the picture here. Does anyone know what needs to be fixed here?

Looks like a torn CV boot leaking grease all over the place.

any idea on how complex of a repair it is

Not really. I do know the more you drive it the more expensive it gets. Once the grease is gone, the CV joint will eat itself and then it will need to be replaced.
