Hey all,
I just got the M sport rear bumper and the M5 rear diffuser. I'm going to fill in the rear reflectors with bondo and shave it down evenly. What do you guys think about a molded m5 diffuser? I know the E60 M5 had something that looks molded but it was part of the bumper. I'm hoping it might turn out good. Any ideas? Also, I'm planning to install my full oem M5 exhaust with 3.5" tips so it won't look so puny in the diffuser. |

You can get an oem m5 rear diffuser on getbmwparts.com
I'm going to do it within the next 3 weeks. I'm going to fill the reflectors with bondo, mold it myself and probably bring to paint. |

Yes, a lot of people here have done the conversion to the M5 diffuser on the Msport bumper. If you have comfort kick trunk access, then you might have to relocate the sensor.
Here is the link to the item : http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462 |

I wouldn't suggest it. All it takes is one idiot to give your rear bumper a love tap and whatever bondo work you have there will crack. What would have been a simple fix now just turned into a full bumper respray.
