Dealer just called. My car should be here on Mon or Tues.

550i, Space Gray, Black Interior, M Sport, HUD, External Cameras, Sport Transmission, Ventilated seats. This car is exactly setup the way I would order one and happened to be on it's way over when I made my deal. I wish there weren't so many reports of grinding steering, etc.

Problem is that I won't be able to even see the car till the weekend, and even that may be a little difficult with pre-Christmas plans and the long drive between home and the dealership. If I pass on the car, I don't expect another exactly the way I want it for some time, in fact, I will probably need to order one if I miss this one.

Mine is at Thorne distribution centre UK. I will pick it up on 21st Jan and drive it to Belgium. Looking forward for it!!!

My dealer just called to say my F11 MSport was dug out of the snow at Thorne at the weekend and is now on the back of a transporter heading south. Should be ready for collection either later today or tomorrow.

Hey, hoe kan je dit opvolgen? De mijne heeft vertraging wegens geen transport tss Dui en de UK?? Had hem normaal de 16de dec verwacht...

I would like to!!! My Naval Academy course was named "Sinnfeinonjske" as from the wonderful sailing and stay in Dublin during the Amerigo Vespucci cruise in 1982. Quite a long time ago, sigh!

Why not take it over to Dublin in the summer for a driving holiday - the roads here will give the suspension a good work-out!

Or put it on a truck and ship it to Chicago, if you want to drive on a Third World Interstate Highway. Using Federal Stimulus Funds the State of Illinois took a concrete interstate highway, I-290 that was needlessly stripped of an 1 1/2" of concrete and resurfaced with asphalt. The brand new uneven road surface undulates and makes an expensive new German automobile drive like sh1t. What an idiotic waste of money to resurface a highway that was in generally fine condition and end up with a worse driving highway. The difference between American highway construction technology and German Autobahn Technology is unbelievable. Anyway why send you F10 to Ireland to experience crummy roads when the I-290, aka Eisenhower Expressway, is available here?

Unfortunately there won't be any pictures. Uncle Sam got me for a bit more than I was planning on putting down on the car... If anyone is interested in this car, give Greg Poland a call at Pacific BMW in Glendale. Its available... Hopefully in a few months I will be out of the poor house and back in the market!
