Hello I briefly had a 2009 535xi that I bought as a project with body damaged that I enjoyed after getting it repaired and sold a few years ago but am looking at a 2012 535xi with low miles (38K) also a body damage project.
My 09 had lowered springs that I had to replace with OEM and waste gate chatter but that was only issues. I read that the 11+ had larger body and single turbos and wanted to know any known issues or complaints.

Just picked up a 2012 f10 535i. this was based on research on this forum and others that have suggested that the n55 engine is more reliable than what I believe would have been the n54 engine in your E60. I went with a 2012 vs a 2011 just to avoid the typical first gen of a new 5series issues.
