I don’t see any album art when I save CD’s to my 2011 7 Series, but I’ve been saving some of the same CD’s to the 2014 3 Series loaner I’m currently in and see it all. Is my 2011 not capable of same or am I missing something? Thanks.

I think it needs a software update. My car does the same if i store cds onto the HD the "update album art" stays greyed out and never works and I have no album art for the stored tracks. If I put the same album on a stick as an MP3 though album art works fine same as it does for the iPod. If you do find an answer let me know.

Car is currently at dealer; will try update upon its return.

Let me know if it works to activate album art for anyone else.

Hmm. Thanks for the info. Hope we're able to figure this out. Album art is neat. Certainly a feature we have, but that's not working properly.

As I mentioned in the other thread, it probably needs a Gracenote database update. I've heard Dealers charge between $50 and $100 to perform the update, but ask first if that will solve your problem.

No, haven't.

Car is at dealer with a list of complaints, so I unfortunately didn't want to add this one after the fact.

I'll ask on pickup and see what they say.
