New windscreen part number

Auto Glass just fitted a new genuine BMW windscreen to my 2011 F11 520d Msport, it seems clearer than the previous screen, maybe because its clean.

Anyone know where I can find the correct part number so I can check against what has been fitted, car has option 761 sun protection but I think this only applies to the side windows.

Part number on new screen seems to be 43R-001586

They did a great job of fitting it no complaints there.

Climate comfort windscreen is an option in its own right and is separate from the sun protection glass on the rear door windows and rear window. You can normally tell a screen with this as it will have a purple/green look to it when looking from the outside.

The part number you've quoted isn't a BMW part number by the looks of it.

Thanks that puts my mind to rest, I definitely don't have the climate comfort windscreen so it must be the right part.

I did wonder if the m sport variants had a different tint to SE.

No, M Sport, SE etc have the same standard windscreens. They only change as per options fitted.
