Hmm, I thought I'd seen the good majority with 343m running 285 tires - no chance you're talking about M6 wheels with a 19mm offset instead of the F10 M5 34mm?
The M6 wheels are comically wide on an F10, they are not even close to fitting with a normal size tire.

Apparently rear ET34 M5 wheels will rub with 285s but it seems to be camber, ride height and tire profile dependent (some tires are wider and/or more square in the shoulder than others for a given size).
