Yesterday me and my bro-in-law converted his rear bumper to an m sport and after installing it we noticed his comfort access trunk smart opener stopped working (It was working before we took everything off). After several attempts we disassembled the rear diffuser to get access to both the bottom and top sensor and everything looks right. All the wires was reconnected back to the right place on the control box. We tried opening the trunk with the diffuser off and still wouldn't work. All the conversion parts are OEM including the diffuser. I was wondering if disconnecting and reconnecting the sensor from the control box might have to do something with it.

For the guys who did this conversion did you run into this same scenario where the trunk kick opener stop working. Any feedback would be highly appreciated.
