Armrest subwoofer
FYI - I came across this subwoofer that looks like a perfect fit behind the rear seat armrest. It is only a 8" but takes up virtually no trunk space and can be mounted to fire right through the skipass into the cabin.

Bav is coming out with their subwoofer so I'm waiting to see how that works. This Kicker I don't know if it'll fit under the seat. Wouldn't be ideal to run this behind the ski port. U could always have a shop build u a single 10" or 12" shallow sub in a sealed enclosure with better results if you're concerned about space. Also were u plans on running an amp?

I think Bavsound replaces the underseat speakers, which are really not good as subwoofers. This would be a compact trunk solution to complement the underseat woofers and I think 300 watts fired straight into the cabin would probably work OK without giving up trunk space or adding weight.
I have top hifi so the replacing the whole amp is an expensive proposition. I plan to use a jl 500/3 with two channels to the underseat wonders and the sub channel to something like this. |
