I do custom headlight retrofitting as a hobby/part time job.
ditched the factory projectors and added in the following
4 Bixenon D2S projectors
4 50W ballast
RGB Demon Eyes
RGB Halo's
RGB Strip's in the eyebrow
RGB Strips in the Corner Marker
painted shrouds
new shroud for low beam with no gaps
wrapped inside in Dry carbon vinyl
All controlled via bluetooth. When the car first starts they automatically go into white mode in case you left them in color mode.

Nice! do you know if the OEM M5 front bumper is actually wider than the M5 bumpers for the F10 series you see on Ebay?

Yeah the OEM M5 bumper is wider, requires the fenders and a bunch of other parts.

black cars are hard to photograph. I had a black car a while back and I get so frustrated trying to shoot photos of it.

Just got my 14 550 xdrive a month or so ago. Now time for mods! Thinking I'm going with rims first to get rid of the huge gap.

Since you need to keep the same overall diameter no matter what wheel you purchase the gap will remain the same. To reduce the gap you need to lower the body with the appropriate hardware.
