Thoughts needed--yay or nay

First one is OEM for comparison, have been thinking about powdercoating the 331 wheels in a gunmetal color but unsure how dark I want. Share your insights fellas, and specific why!

PS: Had to borrow one of the member's picture to photo shop because the pic is so well taken , shout out to him mine is exactly the same

The "medium" shade actually looks good!

I like the medium shade, but think the darker color looks better.

I myself am favoring the middle one too, not entirely too dark but adequately dark enough to the right shade. I wonder how would I describe such color to the shop.

I will consider Coleman's Collision in NJ, I believe they are one of the sponsors. My car is in their shop undergoing the M sport conversion now, will be ready by tomorrow.

Not sure if this is the same place or not. Yelp reviews don't look good. They mainly pertain to the sales/service, but still a turn off for me.

I bought a set of 331's for winter and considered powder coating them also. Post pics!

Don't go darker than the medium shade grey, kinda look like the OEM finish called Ferric Grey.

Medium just looks like it's been out for a hard drive and covered in the a-typical silly amount of brake dust that the pads throw out.

Personally I prefer OEM or black but if you're looking for powder coated then the third (definitely not the second).

But they'll still be glossy, which brake dust covered wheels won't be.
