Real cost of Ventilated Seats... less than u think!

Ok, if you use the online configurator, and see the cost of the Active Ventilated seats, they are $2,950 because they include heated and multi-contour seats. Now, if you also add the Sports package, which includes the active seats, the Ventilated Seats package price goes down to $1,950...
finally, if you also add the Premium-2 package, instead of being charged $4,900 for it, you only add $4,500.

This means that if you are ordering Sports+Premium-2, the Ventilated seats end up costing only an additional $1,550 ! For me, the ventilation plus the beautiful look of the perforated leather makes it worth it!

Even Cheaper

If you get the cold weather package, it goes down another $400, without PP2. It's around $1300 (invoice) extra if you order Sport, Prem-1, Cold Weather.
But is it worth $1300?

I really like the look of the perforated leather and the comfort in the summer time. It adds approximately $14 per month on my Euro Delivery Lease so for me it is very marginally worth it on my 550i.

Active seats are not part of the sports package. Multi-contour seats are.

I've been mulling this one over as well. It doesn't seem to be too bad a deal depending on what other options you select. By itself, subtracting out the invoice price of the multicontour seats and heated seats (included in ZAV) you get a net invoice price of $1045 which gets the perforated leather, ventilated seats and active seats. It's not quite as good a deal if you also get sports package as well, because for some strange reason the discount on ZAV with ZSP doesn't give you "full" credit for the multicontour seats. Odd.

Memory Seats

The comfort seats w or w/o ventilation give you memory of the seat position on the passenger seat. Works fine for me.

Ventilated Seats

Although I don't disagree with anything that's been already posted, I still feel Ventilated Seats should have been offered as a "stand alone" option.
