I had this Meistershaft GTS SUS exhaust on my 550ix. I just took it off a few months ago as I sold my 550 and got an M4.

The sounds is AMAZING! If you have questions on which exhaust this is or other technical questions see:

Retail is around $3500. I have seen "new" for closer to $3000 if you are a real buyer and have the cash.

Your xi setup is different from rear wheel set up, correct?

I believe 550i and 550ix are the same exhaust because if you go to GTHAUS they have 1 option for the "550" which is this exhaust. They have a design for a 535, 550, and M5 but no exhaust specific for ix or i. I am not sure how an ix would be different. Link to GTHAUS website in first post.

I have had cars where the exhaust literally vibrates my eardrums unpleasantly with drone. if this has any drone it would be low RPM under middle load. This exhaust generally isn't quiet. Under full throttle, wow it sounds great, beefy, v8 sound. On startup its louder than stock for sure, but I even like that sound. I do remember driving with 3 other friends in the car and inside, the exhaust was loud enough we had to speak up slightly, I just sped up a bit and that was that.

if you have had droney exhausts before you may say this one doesn't but if you have only driven 4 cylinder Hondas and Prius', this exhaust might be too much for you.

Sounds like the GTC with valves open. Start at about 36 seconds. Pretty much sounds like this.

I decided against getting another 550 as a daily and this exhaust is now available again.

Anyone local, PM me with area reasonable cash offer (no shipping). If you are not local you can PM me as well but obviously there are shipping costs for you as well.

If I didn't say so before, the exhaust really brings out the V8 sound. It sounds pretty mean.

I'd like to be upfront. Yes there are a half dozen PMs all with offers less than my asking price. No I will not setup some sort of manual auction so someone can outbid another for by $5.

Whoever purchases this $3600 exhaust for $1975 plus shipping will get it and it will be sold immediately.

Otherwise the best offer by Friday will get it. I'll end up shipping 1-2 days after paypal is confirmed. Also, I will only ship to the confirmed paypal address so please, if you don't have your paypal in order I'll go to the next person.
