iOS 8 Bluetooth Connection Acting Weird

After updating the phone to iOS 8, I have no trouble pairing up the phone with the car but the iDrive keeps showing I am dialing out on the iDrive screen but I actually is not.

Do you guys have any issues with the iOS 8 Bluetooth connection?

Tested an iPhone 6 with both the CIC/Combox and the NBT/built-in Combox and on both the Bluetooth connection for phone calls is defective -it shows "Connected" on iPhone and "Paired" on iDrive but no response at iDrive when making/receiving calls -they display but no response. Only the iPhone itself can make/receive calls.

And randomly a call is displayed at the iDrive screen as being initiated but nothing shows in the iPhone. No iPhone restore, reset, or re-pair fixed all this. According to iPhone owner, problems started after receiving a call while listening to the iPhone iPod music via USB -which matches problems with playing music from iPod while receiving/making calls already reported in BMW forums. No problems with Bluetooth Audio or music from iPod via USB, only phone calls.

iPhone going back to Apple for warranty replacement.

Thanks Technic for testing out.

I have the similar problem on my 2013 car. It shows the phone connects to the car, but it either non-stop dialing out on the iDrive screen but it isn't, or I can dial out through iDrive but both parties can't hear from each other, like we mute each another. I will try to reset the iOS 8 phones and see if it makes any changes.

I work in the Software industry, regardless of the temptations never upgrade right away, even new cars models when 1st out tend to have problems.

I had the same issue, I turned off the phone and turned it back on. After that I don't have the dialing out issue.

I "rest all settings" on both of my iPhone 6 and 5s with iOS8 and they are working fine since then.
