The man has spoken the truth. But seriously I would consider a catted solution as this will be a much more popular version in my opinion.

Have you looked into the possibility of using the DP fix from the 335? We would just need to find the correct wires in the ECU and then its just like modifying the N54 O2 signal or am I missing something?

I'm mostly concerned with setting OBD readiness rather than getting rid of a CEL.

The N54 DP fix may work but we don't have a local car to test the DP fix on. If someone wants to give it a shot I'd be more than happy to provide them with a free DP fix if they can figure out which wires need to be tapped into.

I think it's awesome your making low priced catless down pipes and I'm sure you will sell a lot of them. I my self as with others would like a catted version so we don't have a CE light and be able to pass smog. I think a very important thing to keep in mind is we're not driving used Hondas, I can't speak for everyone but my car was 80k new and the last thing I want to see is a CE light on the dash it immediately makes me think busted ass ghetto car. I know it makes me sound like a snob, but I know I'm not the only one who thinks this way. I'm not flaming you I'm just really expressing an interest in high flow catted DP's at a good price. Please consider a catted option, thanks

Most catted downpipes I've seen on any BMW platform can't ever guarantee you won't have a CEL. They're better at deterring the CEL rather than preventing it due to the cat's increased flow.

AR Design has a catted options for your 80k car, they are just not priced at 400-500$

The test version didn't fit the customers car, I'm researching now whether it was due to the original pipes we based the design on (X5 OEM DP's) or if it was a jig error. Should have an update soon.

x5 / x6 are different from the 550i from my understanding, there are some cheap ones on ebay for the N63 but they specify it for the X suvs, a member tried it and confirmed it doesnt fit the 550i

Let me know if you need another test car. My buddies got a real experienced shop.

I've confirmed the part number on the original part we made the jig for and it's definitely for an X5. Looks like the next tester is going to have to be an X5 and we'll have to keep looking for an OEM 550i downpipe to make the next sample out of.

I have a 2013 build date of 01/2013 f10 550 msport x drive. My understanding is that with no cat, you get a heavy gas odor in car. No big deal for track but annoying for daily driver with weekend play. I have seen more and more interest in molding the 2011 forward 550 as the horsepower and quarter mile time with modest changes is amazing in these cars. We are talking super car numbers at a fraction of the price. A chatted solution would be more pricey, but worth cost for dual purpose car.

Tiago@VRSF you guys planning on doing any DPs for the F25/F26 ?

mikekilpatrick not sure on the gas odor in the car, i have absolutely none with my Enzoperformance Custom Hi-Flow Race downpipes. I can notice it a tiny bit when outside of the car but its not like how some people say it is (very bad)

I am only going by opinion from the people I have talked to. Downpipe and methods will not go on my car for another three years when warranty goes out. Balancing act between mods and rusk of repairs not being covered. I have a cool dealership, but still have limits.

What I would like to see is someone with dinan stage 5 and all the Dinan goodies on a dyno versus bms state two. Then I would like to see more support from bms for tuning changes to boost and waste gate and then adding in things like Downpips, bad black custom high flow air filters (just the air filter for oem intake) and other things. I have found information from bms to be less than what my expectations are. Great product though.
