New Springs & Shocks??
I impressed with the lowered stance the F10 has by installing the ACS springs. In talking with another person about making this mod on my F10, they said that any new lowering springs should be matched with a set shocks. No where have I read in this section that people making the lowering springs mod have also changed their shocks. Is there any truth or proof that keeping the OEM shocks in place is okay over the longer term use of the car? Thanks for any insight.

Im sure the people that sell the parts would love to sell you shocks as well, but I have lowered 4 cars and never installed new shocks. The whole point in doing springs rather than coilovers is to keep costs down. You dont need shocks, you will be fine.

+2. What he said. In the long term, talking 60-70k miles you might have to worry bout the shocks prematurely wearing out depending on driving conditions. But you'll be fine.
