Ordered F10 535d M Sport

I got 6.1% on an 520d F11 tourer including options, with a 2 month lead time. 2 dealerships (Leeds and Huddersfield) locally matched coast2coast cars internet price, but only Leeds could get a car by the end of September.

The "d" (meaning diesel) isn't available here

although the rumor is that a diesel F10 will be arriving in about a year.I'm keeping mmy fingers crossed that the rumor is true!

As per my first post in another thread re a UK F11 535D.

Seems there is a big difference in what UK dealers are offering. First sales rep I approached said no discount, then agreed to 4% after a little haggling. Shopping around I was offered 9% via an "online supplier" which ended up at a rather fabulous 12%. Very happy with that

Forgot to add: perhaps the discount reflected that it is a high spec

I ordered my 535D M sport two weeks ago. Dealer promised December delivery. I got a bit crazy with the extras - sunroof, sunblinds, 19" wheels, professional nav, rear seat entertainment, adaptive drive, integral active steering, surround view, 6DVD changer. Its a bit of a shot in the dark as I still haven´tseen one in the flesh. But my expectations are high. I chose carbon black with oyster-black interior. I´ve never bought a new car before, but this time, after selling my A5, the 535D M sport was the only similarly priced car which I was happy with. Dear gave me no reduction, not even with all these extras. Can´t wait for it to arrive though. I had thought of adding the sun protection glass but feared it might look too gangsterish. Can it be retrofitted if I decide I want it later?
