Dark Graphite Metallic owners, are you dirty?

I saw a 5 Series sedan in Dark Graphite Metallic and was really drawn to the color, it was very sunny that day. After having a black car in the past I swore never again because it constantly showed dirt and swirls. The Dark Graphite Metallic looks to be very close to black, especially at night or under clouds. Does it show dirt as quickly as a black car, and if not, is it a slight difference or a significant one?

I just drove my Dark Graphite Metallic GT from San Francisco down to Palm Springs, and despite a sh*tstorm of bugs on the windshield and a ton of dust blowing around town, the car does not appear dirty. I think the color is perfectly situated between Black Sapphire Metallic and Space Gray in terms of visual appeal and practicality.

Dark Graphite Metallic is a brilliant color. My car has a strong metallic titanium/black and slightly "purple-ish" hue with plenty of metallic flakes. After many, many, coats of zymol carbon, auto glym super resin, autoglym high definition wax, and now Pinnacle Sovereign. My car looks like hard candy even when dirty. When its clean its beyond showroom fresh. I also have a clear bra to protect the hood, front side skirts, air dam, side mirrors, head lights and fog lights.

Dark Graphite Metallic aka Sophisto Grau is one of the best colors offered by BMW in my opinion. I took a leap of faith ordering the color sight unseen, couldn't be happier

Can you post a pic showing how the clear bra looks?

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to see the Dark Graphite Metallic on a GT this weekend.

You won't be dissappointed, my favourite colour for the F07. It needs the high gloss shadow line to set it off.

I would have ordered this colour but I got a stunning deal on a pre-reg car in Black Sapphire (my 2nd favourite for the F07)

I’m looking forward to seeing Dark Graphite Mettalic this weekend, and will be going with the high gloss shadow line option.

So far I’ve seen the GT in white, black, and space gray. I don’t like white cars in general, won’t get black because of the dirt issue, and thought Space Gray looked really sharp on the GT.

Sorry for the delayed response. I thought I had photos of my clear bra. I will take some this week and post them.

Sorry for the sub-par photos but you can just make out the outline of the clear bra in these pics. Obviously the goal is for the bra to be as inconspicuous as possible. I also have the headlights, foglights and side mirrors covered as well. There are some small stretch marks that can be seen in some lighting conditions, but the benefits and protection far outweigh some of the visual anomalies that can be barely detected
