dumb question ...

I was playing around with the control display. Familiarizing myself with all its features. When I was done I shut the car off but the display stayed lit. Waited awhile for it to go off. Finally manually shut the control display off. Was fooling with the satellite radio. Don't recall changing any of the settings. But it always shut off before. Checked the manuals. No luck. I must be getting old. I could rebuild a carb, and install a cam at 16 years old in my SS350. Now I can't program these new-fangled electronics. Won't be long before I start yelling at the neighbor kids to "get off of my lawn!" Thanks in advance.

And if you don't, it'll shut off on it's own in, I believe 5 minutes.

locking the doors with remote also shuts everything down.

FYI - if you decide to have the car coded, you can enable the option to have the electronics shut down when you open the door (when the engine is off).

thanks everyone! Went back and read the owners manual. Everything that was stated above was in the section on start/stop, not in the display control where I thought it would be. And it will shut itself off after 8 minutes.
