I personally prefer the glossy look.

Do these matte finishes even have clear coat on them? I would think so for UV and fading protection.

Looks great. Even tho BMW is second in place to do this. The E Class has had this color paint option for a while now with the new bodies.

I love the look, but I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole. That finish is far too sensitive for daily use.

does it have to be looked after specially? or have they 'fixed' that now?

it would be safe to assume f10 m-sport owners/buyers will not have access to the same funds as a special edition M car affords them in order to keep it in accordance with the guidlines from BMW re: the paint code..
