I can answer this pretty good since I just took off my 20s and put back on the stocks.
I would say that the ride in the 20s was just as good if not better than the run flat stocks. I had on 20in Avant Garde M368s with Hankook Evos. |

Besides swapping back to stocks or running an aspect ratio higher (F01 size), do you think keeping the fronts the same 245/35 and swapping out the rear 265/35 will help in comfort? Rear size works out to be .8" larger OD.

I am running 20" BMW Style 343M's (Stock M5 wheel) and they ride very well. Nitto NT555G2 Tires.

You could put wagon wheels on these cars and they'd still ride like a boat.

I'm running AS3+ too, with 255/35/20 front, 285/30/20 rear IIRC. Compared to stock 351M with RFT's, I think the butt feel is smoother, the car feels significantly more planted in the corners at speed... but I definitely feel the bumps in the road a tad more (expected given 20" vs 19"). The part I don't get is why the rolling sound got a bit louder. I thought RFTs were supposed to be very loud in comparison? |
