2013 M Sport - Comfort Seats?
Hi,
When I look at the option list for a 2013 535 X Drive on the BMW.ca website, I see that comfort seats are part of the M Sport package. I located a car in western Canada at a dealership that lists the M Sport package along with pictures of the car the show the interior, but the car doesn't have the comfort seats. Was this a production error, did the dealer mix in pictures from another car into the "picture deck", or is it an early production car that didn't include comfort seats in the M Sport package? I know comfort seats are available as a stand along package, but I thought they were always included in the M Sport package in Canada. Any thoughts? |

M Sport incudes 337 Comfort Seats. This is for 2014. Should be same for 2013 and all vehicles, but not verified. Best, |

they are standard seat.
The one with the thigh extender is called sport seat ??. well, anyway on my past 11 550, I had the Msport with seat that has the thigh extender. No idea what they are called, just happy to have it. |

Too bad, as I would have totally bought this car. It had everything I wanted (and more) for a ridiculously low lease rate. Looks like I'll pick up a lightly equipped M Sport, with Executive, Apps in either silver or white and let this one go. |

I'll stick with a car with comfort seats I think. To me, they are one of the most important options. I have located several white cars, a silver car and space Gray with the options I want. If my local dealer can get one released, I'll buy through him, if not I'll buy direct from the dealer and drive or ship it home.

From the pic's: The seats are standard. The Steering wheel has the M. Logical, that this may have been a special. The dealer is listing M option as $3900,which looks like list price. I think the 5er would be much better with sport or comfort seats. Again personal choice. You have firmed your decision which is great, as many debate on & on wheel size, etc.

I understand your desire for Comfort Seats. My retired E60 had Comfort Seats with side bolsters which I must say are superior to the standard seats in my F10. However, the lack of Comfort Seats was not a deal breaker for me due to my driving habits.
I reviewed my 2013 and 2014 price guides and the Comfort Seats are supposed to be included in the M Sport option. The pics say otherwise. Good luck on your search.

I'm going through the same process and looking at picking up a 2013 535xi Msport (probably white also)- what sort of price did you end up negotiating and what dealers did you find were the most receptive (preferably in the West)? Thanks in advance! |

The dealers in Vancouver are a good place to start. they have allot of inventory with lots of option availability. What options are you looking at? Did you check with the dealer in Edmonton? What city are you in?

I'm in Edmonton, the one dealer here has no inventory and the other has a few but no white. More curious as to what your price was pre-tax (feel free to PM me also). Options wise I'm not particular, but would like Mpsort/Premium/Apps.
