Introduction

Hey guys, I'm Alex. I just purchased a Beautiful F10 Hybrid White on Black yesterday. I used to lease a E90 so I lurked behind the scenes once every 6 months however I'd like to get more involved in the community

First step is to code the vehicle. I need video in Motion, Bluetooth music playback, close mirrors windows and roof with key maybe other cool things I can find that I don't know about.

Second step Cosmetic. I'd like the M kit put on then wheels

3rd step : need to find a totaled M for this or Sport but i'd like to put the M seats or sport 8 way seats and the rear LCD screens also the rear and side curtains.

I hope all you guys can help a fellow new member out.

Welcome Alex, and congrats on your new F10!

The mods - M Sport, swapping out seats, LCDs in the rear, and the shades seem pretty significant. I'm curious why you didn't buy the car with these options? I would imagine the cost of retrofit them will be more than just buying it from the factory?

The rear shades, for instance, were only around $550, but they're heavily integrated into the car - the rear deck, the window panels, and driver's armrest (button to activate it), etc - seems like much more than $550 worth of parts and labor to do it after-market? I'd think the same would be true of the seats, unless as you said you can get them from a totaled car cheaply and do installation yourself?

I think the M kit and wheels should be pretty straight forward, though, and very common cosmetic modification.

I don't really ever mod my cars, so I'm probably the wrong person to ask, but I'm sure you'll find lots of help here with procuring parts and advice on installation.

Best of luck and welcome!

Thank you ezmaas. I wanted those features but this was the last 2013 F10 available and a 2014 was almost 15k more. Luckily I bought it with the sport package and convenience package but not the sports seat and M body styling. The curtains are really last on the list and seats are before last however a totaled f10 would help skyrocket those features to the top.

Thank you for welcoming me and look forward to meeting fellow members

Congrats and good luck with the retrofitting. Anything is possible - I've done Nav, Heads Up Display, Soft Close Doors, M5 active seats and lots of other awesome stuff on my previous BMW's. At first glance this kind of stuff can seem prohibitively expensive, so I understand why people always say to not bother. But the truth is the parts are out there, deals are easy to find and these cars could not be easier to work on/code.

I just did a 6WA extended black panel gauge cluster retrofit, very cool, inexpensive and gratifying. My last F10 I installed soft close door retrofit (google 'F10 soft close retrofit')

If you ever find yourself in LA and want free coding, I've been at it for years and would glad to help you out.

PS: I can recommend Trinity Autosport in Tustin for the M-Sport kit. They sell replicas for a really good price, one of the first to market with these kits back when this body style first came out. They do paint/install as well. Great work/prices/customer service.
