Audi headlights > BMW headlights

Audi taillights < BMW taillights

...just saying....

The front Corona Rings (Angel Eyes) and the rear stripes are LED lit according to the BMW Press Release. They are just elegantly lit to the right colour temperature, unlike the aftermarket ones.

I think the new "tube-looking" BMW tails look very nice, much nicer than Audi tails in general. However, I really like the Q5 tails. The rest of the Audi line, with the square pattern LED tails, I think is a fad (like uhn2000 mentioned earlier).

As for the front, again I think the BMW corona rings are very unique, but the new R8-inspired lining on the A4/A5/Q5 looks pretty nice and unique too.

They are nice in their own ways, and I think people are always going to differ in which they like better.

Yes they are LEDs. They are LED light tubes. So the LEDs are at the end of the bars and shine through them for the elongated line look.

Same on e90 and 1 series coupe & new 7

Flashers on rear and front of this 5er are also LEDS

You need to keep in mind that Audi got the headlight led trim idea from BMW!

IMO, if there's anything BMW does well it's lighting and the appearence of it. The new EClass, similar to the S5, with it's crooked eyebrow looks out of place.

+2...there's just too much going on that the lights (Audi) end up looking semi-altezza like! JMO!
