Did some data logging...
Thank you onfireX5 for your help and advice.
I have 2015 550i xDrive. I purchased the OBD2 adapter and DashCommand app for the iPhone: http://smile.amazon.com/Veepeak-Scan...ilpage_o05_s00 Everything was less than $30 The only negative of this adapter is that it is Wi-Fi based so Waze app does not work to see possible police. The one onfireX5 suggested is one of the few bluetooth ones available for iPhone. Here is what he suggested: http://smile.amazon.com/GoPoint-Tech...A37ZH2W7JGR69C Most Android ones are bluetooth and ones for iPhone are Wi-Fi. Did some data logging with BMS at 1 o'clock position. 0-60 best two times were 4.1sec (with lunch control, without it was low 5sec), 60-100, best two times - 5.7sec. Then took the piggyback off and 0-60 was 4.3sec and 60-100 was 6.2. Not bad for a piggyback. Everything was done with same test conditions: same stretch of the road, same outside temperature about 40F, approximately same oil and intake temperatures. Just wanted to share this. |
