I have been noticing that when I am in Sport + and I go to make a lane change, meaning I get on the gas hard, the RPMs stay elevated (about 6k) until I tap the gas pedal again. Does anyone else experience this?

I've never noticed it at higher speeds but my 550 does it at lower speeds when I step on it then take my foot off the gas quickly.

I actually have the opposite effect sometimes in Sport+ mode. I'll be at lower speeds then step on the gas real hard and nothing happens. The rpm's don't move and the car just keeps rolling forward.

Sounds like its simply holding the lower gear thinking you may want to get back hard on the gas. If you just tap the gas at that point it will assume you aren't looking for max aceleration so it shifts to a higher gear.
