Another x-Drive offset question....

Hello all....

I have a 2011 535 M X-Drive dropped on H&Rs and am considering buying wheels with these specs - 20X8.5 +37 AND 20X10 +33.

Will it rub? Your feedback is much appreciated!!

Thanks in advance for your feedback!!

You shouldn't have any issues with that set up

Here is an example of our recommended 20x9 ET35 | 20x10 ET35 VMR V710
(F) 255/35/20
(R) 285/30/20

Your setup in comparison will be:
(F) 8mm more "sunken" in the fender
(R) 2mm further out towards the fender

ET37 in the front is pretty high, might wanna look into spacers in the front to match the fitment in the rear.

Just remember that for Xdrive those dimensions on front tire can`t be used. That will be over 1.1% difference, and not good for the 4x4 system.
But with 245 front tires, the difference is only 0.07%.

What about using 255/35/20 with 295/30/20, will it be ok on Xdrive?

My tire shop said they are almost the same diameter.

Same diameter front - rear (27in overall diameter), but bigger (0.3in bigger in overall diameter than 26.7in OEM), heavier, wider, and more expensive.
Your acceleration will suffer and speed readings less than real one.

Thx Dan for the great infos. U think 0.3 inch is enough to affect the XDrive system? I'm guessing not.

xDrive will be OK as long front and rear overall diameters are the same. 255/35/20 with 295/30/20 is one of the happy cases (both 27in overall diameter).

Perfect fit. Only 0,18in difference. 0,22%. Everything under 1% is ok according to BMW.
