BPMSport | 550i N63Tu Performance Flash Tune
www.bpmsport.com | info@bpmsport.com | 1-(888) 557-5133 We're happy to announce that we're now offering our F10 550i performance tune! Although we could have brought forth a "piggyback tune" to the market much sooner than our flash tune, we decided against it. We strongly believe that a proper tune should have complete control over every aspect of engine management, rather than using piggybacks to "trick" the ECU's into making more power. We've spent countless hours developing the software that utilizes the hidden potential of the N63Tu's twin turbo setup without jeopardizing engine safety and reliability. This F10 550i from the factory is putting down around 400 WHP! The F10 550i is no slouch, however we wanted to safely extract what is left on the table. We dyno'd this F10 550i on a Dyno Jet during a very warm summer day with 93 Octane. The end results put a smile on our faces! Baseline: 402 WHP, 450 TQ. Stage I: 473 WHP, 487 TQ End results are peak gains of ~70 WHP and ~40 TQ!! Here are a few videos of the dyno runs: We will offer two stages for our performance tune: Stage I is for lightly modified vehicles with the stock catalysts and Stage II is for vehicles with catless downpipes, high-flow cats, etc. What else does our F10 550i tune offer? Our tune includes the following:
How do I go about getting this tune? For now we will have to physically flash the ECU's on the bench at our local facility in Southern California. You will have to ship the DME's in for programming or you can schedule an appointment. If you're waiting on flashing via OBD, we're hoping to release this to the public in the upcoming weeks. Edit: Please note, that this is for the N63Tu equipped vehicles only! Questions? Feel free to email or call us if you have any questions. Also feel free to post on this thread or send us a PM. Just for clairification, this is for the N63Tu only. However, if anyone has an N63 in the Socal Area, please shoot us a PM and we can take a look at offering an option for this vehicle as well. It looks like the N63 non-Tu uses a very similar control unit to the X5M/X6M, which we tune quite frequently and are very experienced with, so providing a tune for the non Tu models shouldn't be an issue.
Thank you |

That sucks. Any company providing a tune should be available for the most part. Were they completely unresponsive?
