UK Delivery Date for F10/F11 LCI

Congratulations on your new car...

- Did you get the Xenons or the LED headlights? Xenons
- Are the turn lights/ indicators (in the front main headlamp) halogen bulbs or LED? Halogen
- What about the turn lights/ indicators at the rear? Yes they are there
- Can you post a pic of the iDrive screen? How does it look with the two chrome strips? It looks good - nothing major
- Did you order 4-zone A/C or the standard 2-zone? Does your front Central Vent also have chrome strips? A picture would be nice. 2 zone extnded
- What is your interior colour? Pictures of the exclusive stitching or did you order Exclusive Nappa, etc...? Black with fancy stitching

I am aware.... but with the LCI, the front indicators have gone back to halogens.

If you order the Xenons (which are now a standard on the LCI), the indicators are halogen. If you order LED headlights, all lights are LED.

I wanted Flusingmeadows to check since he has got a new LCI recently...

Thanks for the quick responses. Some of my queries were perhaps not very clear.
- Are the rear turn indicators LED or halogens?

Ah, I didn't know that. I guess a visual clue to separate upgraded headlights (LEDs) now xenons are standard.

I son't suppose the rear clusters will be any different though (i.e. still LEDs)

I've just nipped out to take some pics..

Rear lights are all LED I think

Yes to the chrome strips.

Love the full black panel dash but I can't believe they've gone for egg yolk front indicators after all this time...

Quick update from my earlier posts...

The Adaptive lights and high beam assist are of the latest generation of technology, not the old dip up dip down style - wow, I know these lights have been applauded in other areas of these forums but they do really need to be used in the real world to be fully appreciated. The way the high beam creates a tunnel to blank out other traffic leaves me speechless, the speed and the accuracy of reaction - Wow wow wow!

I'm sure the technology involved is equal to the self drive technology being developed and that we're the guinea pigs for snagging the technology but with the safety of it being just for lights.

Having previously owned an early launch F10 and experienced the vague steering, I'm delighted that the LCI does not suffer from the same wooliness - much more direct, no centre sleep mode, good job BMW!

The halogen front indicator - in operation there's barely a noticable difference between that and LED, not to my eyes anyway - what I have started to appreciate is the art of the design of the lights and how the silly little bulb actually complements it, the bulb is quite small and delicate looking and not that I spend any time studying the headlamps for kicks - I'm starting to get the design principles behind it.

For those of you still waiting, there's plenty to look forward to.

As mine is a leased car, it's coming from the leasing brokers preferred dealer, Hexagon in north London.

They are delivering it to me on Friday ready for me to use on Sunday

Where's yours being supplied from?

Mines a company lease too. its being delivered to the dealer 2 weeks into September but I hope to go and collect it......might just be ready earlier if I do that.

No they haven't. You only got LED front indicators with Xenons or Vis Package on the Pre LCI.

With the new LCI cars, Xenon is standard but you need the Adaptive LED headlights to get LED indicators. Bulbs are standard with the standard Xenon headlights.

LED rear indicators and tail/brake lights have been LED from F10 launch and continue to be with the LCI.
