JBL MS-8 Processor/Amplifier with Technic adapter harness for BMW F10 (plug and play), no wire splicing needed. Looks, works and sounds great.

This setup significantly improves the base audio system (US base).

MS-8 includes all accessories and setup CD:
- 1 MS-8 processor/amp unit
- 1 MS-8 display unit
- 1 high-level input wiring harness (gray and white insulation)
- 1 speaker-output wiring harness (clear insulation) (not included)
- 1 19.7-foot (6-meter) three-conductor cable for display unit
- 1 wireless remote control (battery installed)
- 1 remote-control installation tray
- 1 remote-control trim ring
- 1 binaural microphone headset
- 1 calibration and setup CD (includes instruction manual and quick-start guide)

So you can set the EQ settings from the LCD display correct without the need of hooking up a labtop?

The MS-8 does not allow for laptop hook up. You would use the display unit and the remote for setup and to adjust the EQ settings.

I'd like to sell it all together as a plug 'n play system to a follow F10 member. But if I don't get any takers then I'll let you know about buying just the harness.

How does this set up work? The MS-8 controls the EQ setting and the harness allows you to use of an external amp outside of the factory system?

The MS-8 is a processor with a built-in amp. It allows for you to set the EQ settings to your liking. You can also hook an external amp to it for more power or subs. The harness allows for plug and play of the MS-8 to your factory wires. No cutting of your factory audio wires means that you can take it back to stock in no time.
