I've been hanging around these parts for a bit, and figured it was time to upload a few cell phone photos of the car.

So here it is! I flew down to LA, stayed overnight in Culver City and drove back to Reno. It was an amazing trip, and had a ton of fun. Way more photos to come as I get more for the car!

I have a cold start video filmed from a GoPro. This afternoon I'll record one with my t5i, Rode mic and tripod so the sound is a bit better.

For now, here's a warm start video. I used to study BBCode but forgot how to embed YouTube videos

edit: it does it by itself now? that's pretty nifty

Thank you! I heard you used to own an E60. I love those V10s. I had to get an M6 just for the sound haha

Yes, my previous car was E60 M5, before that I had a E60 530d.
I loved the M5, but I wanted a four wheel drive .

Nice garage!! Have you made a decision about what you'll do with the front bumper? I really like that lip but it does suck that you can't just remove it to swap it out.

Sweet I see u picked up the car! Nice stable you got there! I like the lip... I would at a carbon fiber splitter to it!

Thanks!! I really want a carbon fiber one, but I'm not sure what to do since there's already a painted lip installed, not to mention the painted lip was molded to the bumper and the entire deal resprayed. I'd hate to ruin the work put into that.

Put Niches on the car. First time I ever put aftermarket wheels on a car and I gotta say I'm not too mad! I like the look, but I might put some spacers up front so it doesn't look funky when I install my coilovers.

Still deciding if I want to trade it off or keep it. I was looking at the costs of making an M5 replica but I've seen quite a few F10 M5s around the area and don't want to be 'that guy', especially since I tend to (mentally) bash those who turn 330cis into M3s.

Ultimately I do want a carbon fiber lip, so I think my only option, without pulling it off, is to bust out my heat gun and attempt to wrap it.

there's carbon splitters you can add underneath that existing lip. 3d makes one or you can find some universal one's.

i've been on here quite a bit and seen members come and go and when you posted your molded 3d spoiler these were commonly done from earlier members and i always thought it was a clean look. i knew posting these pictures would give you a better idea.

25% Tint all around, new AA exhaust is nice. Good rumble at the low end but you can barely hear it at all WOT. Might cut out the resonator and see what happens.

Really? That's interesting! I was getting 50 MPG sitting in the driveway. Can't tell you how nice that felt

What tire size did you go with? Are you on OEM suspension?
