Plug in iPhone 2013 F10-Automatically starts playing music from my iPhone library

This is all so frustrating. Every time I plug my iPhone 4s into the car via the usb cable, my car automatically starts playing music from my library in my iPhone. I can't stop it from playing music from my phone because it shows, when I enter the standard music app on my phone, that it is connected to the "Connector Dock."

Related issue: I am simply trying to play Pandora during all of this, but every time I open up Pandora on my iPhone, it will play Pandora for a few seconds, but then go right back to the music on my phone. How weird.

I think its the iPhone starting the music right away and not a car issue. Try plugging in the phone with the screen shutoff vs turned on. I think the phone has two different modes when plugged in to accessories and once that Connector Dock mode gets enabled you cant control the music on the phone itself.

At least that's what I've noticed with my 2012 F10.

Unfortunately, it still plays music in my iPhone library, even when I plug the phone in and the screen in black.

When I googled this issue, this apparently happens with iPhones in many cars. I wonder why more people are not having this issue? Perhaps it is because mine is a 2013?
