I have wanted to try this gauge for a while now but was a little hesitant due to the price. Thanks to a fellow forum member, was able to get it at a great price. Another mini project done and it is not even 10am yet.

Second part of my project for the week just showed up. Going from a real basic 6WA to the mid range 6WA cluster. Scored this for a good price and it has been already virginized. Can't really afford the full 6WB conversion as of yet. Too many little mods going on at the moment. (maybe later on this year)

I run 35% all the way around. Looks cleaner to me than the typical super dark tint

I hear ya. I've never been a fan of limo tint but in FL I use to run 20% and it felt perfect. Granted, it was years ago so the tint has obviously gotten better. I think the ceramic tint has more reflective properties so 35% looks good. I did do 20% on the back window tho.

Redoing my tint was on the to do list but after awhile I started to like it. I'm actually thinking about doing the front windshield with 35%

IMO I like the slight upgrade. makes the interior look newer.

OH YEAH!!!!!! The difference, to me, is night & day. One thing I don't like about our 2012 is the basic cluster. The 6WA is so much nicer and cleaner. That option was one of the 4 I required when we bought the 2014.

My in-laws used to live at the north end of Beach Blvd. I used to take it from Whittier to get to the beach. Those were the days (early-mid 70's)...

Trunk is off to the body shop to have my 3d trunk spoiler removed. wish i can save it but because i used Betalink from BMW that spoiler will come off in a million pieces. i will say with Betalink the spoiler is on their tight! however this time around with the PSM spoiler installed i will skip the Betalink process and use Gorilla tape. the trunk will be repainted Jetblack. cost $300! the carbon fiber quality on the PSM spoiler i'm going to say is pretty on point. love the weave pattern and it's pretty consistent throughout without any weird issues going on

also on the to do list which should be delivered tomorrow according to the tracking info is my Gladen Alpha One component speakers. my passenger door speaker has been rattling since last year and i've been going back and forth as to which components to go with? either Focal, MBQuartz, Hertz, Bavsound or Gladen's? so i pulled the trigger on the Gladen's since i found a pretty good deal on them. gonna leave the center channel stock as well as the rear shelf speakers since essentially they're just fill ins. still looking for a good deal on the MATCH UP 7BMW 7-channel dsp amp. was thinking about Mosconi but the MATCH UP is straight plug n play. i'm also highly considering adding the RF 12" sealed amp just to satisfy by bass head needs as i know the underseat 8's aren't going to suffice. the RF already has a built in 300 watt amp and with the Match amp having mono RCA output this will allow for the connection of an external subwoofer amplifier the ski port will be left open. i thought about the Musica subwoofer enclosure but for $595 i would still need to buy the sub and the amp. so i'll keep you guys posted on here and on my build thread
