I just got my 2011 550xi back from the dealer and they replaced my injectors from index #8 to index #12 under warranty. Does anyone know the difference between the two?

Index #12 injectors were/are manufactured in 2014 and are supposed to correct some of the problems that cause the (premature) failure of earlier production injectors used in 2011 F10 (index #8 and #9). I'm not sure exactly what engineering changes have been made to the latest index injectors, but they look physically different from older versions,
