BMW LED projector welcome lights

I saw these on ebay. It looks pretty cool to have an image projected on the floor. They have it in the M logos too.

So I actually ordered these for my bike. Gonna see if they're any decent. I figure if they don't work, I'll just rig them up in my garage somewhere as ambiance. Haha

I too would be reluctant to drill a hole under the door. BUT, if someone rigged these up as a plug-n-play replacement for the under-door welcome lights I bet they'd sell like hotcakes!

Agreed on both counts. I figured for $20 I'd take a chance on the Harley ones since an install on the bike is much more non-destructive than the car. I'll snap some pics when they show up. If they're as bright as the ad claims, maybe it's worth someone's time to try these on a car.

I'll also see if there's an easy to fit these into an existing light housing. Do the F10's have puddle lights under the side mirrors? I never even bothered to look.

They don't. Puddle lights only under the doors. If I was a bigger batman fan, I would get this. It is pretty neat if this $20 mini-projector can make an image that bright and clear

They look very bright. I'm about to do this when it gets warmer. I'm going to try and not having to remove the door for this. I'll probably end up doing the BMW logo instead of the transformers.

Take pics when you get it mounted, vdub!

I've just bought 2 pairs. I'm going to do this when it comes. I would mount it under my mirror housing but I have top view cameras. That would be awesome though, driving with the image projecting on the floor. Or putting it on the front bumper projecting it on to the floor lol.

I agree, but if one was to rice out thie BMW anyways, might as well go all the way and get the M logo projector welcome light on a non M car

And dont forget the turbo badge and the hybrid badge on the back of your BMW
